Overview
QuitDays is a quit-smoking support app that helps users track smoke-free time, saved money, cravings, rewards, badges, widgets, notifications, and optional community ranking features. This policy is intended for users in all countries and regions where QuitDays is available.
Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, QuitDays may process the following data:
- Quit plan data, including quit date, first smoking date, daily cigarette count, cigarette price, motivation, wishlist item, and target amount.
- Progress data, including smoke-free time, saved money estimates, avoided cigarette count, reward points, badges, craving support completion, and daily mission status.
- Community data, including nickname, profile color, country or region code, quit start time, stop count, ranking count, and cheer count.
- Device, app, usage, advertising, and diagnostic data processed by third-party services for analytics, crash diagnostics, fraud prevention, ad delivery, and ad measurement.
How We Use Data
- To calculate and display quit-smoking progress.
- To provide widgets, badges, reminders, and milestone notifications.
- To operate community ranking and cheering features.
- To improve app stability, diagnose crashes, and understand basic app usage.
- To show advertisements and support free access to the app.
Local Storage
Some quit plan and progress data is stored on your device using Apple-provided storage such as UserDefaults and App Groups. This allows the app and widget to display your current progress.
Third-Party Services
QuitDays uses third-party services that may process data according to their own policies:
- Firebase Auth, for anonymous authentication used by community features.
- Firebase Realtime Database, for community ranking and profile data.
- Firebase Analytics, for app usage analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reports and diagnostics.
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform, for advertising, consent messaging, fraud prevention, and ad measurement.
Advertising and Tracking
QuitDays may show ads through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, and app configuration, advertising services may use device or advertising-related data to provide, measure, or improve ads.
The current iOS version of QuitDays does not import Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework, directly request App Tracking Transparency permission, or directly access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). If a future version enables cross-app tracking, requests IDFA access, or changes ad personalization practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before release.
App Store Privacy Labels
For App Store privacy labels, QuitDays should not be submitted as "Data Not Collected." Firebase and Google advertising services may process identifiers, product interaction data, advertising data, crash data, diagnostic data, and community or user-provided content depending on which features you use.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information directly. Data may be processed by service providers listed above to operate app features, analytics, crash diagnostics, and advertising.
Community Features
If you use the community feature, your nickname, profile color, country or region code, quit start time, ranking data, and cheer count may be visible to other users. Do not use a nickname that includes sensitive personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete or reset it. Community data may remain on our backend until it is deleted as part of service operation or after a deletion request. To request deletion, email 4wl.apps+quitdays@gmail.com with the subject "QuitDays Data Deletion Request" and include your community nickname or other information that helps us locate the record. Deleting the app removes local device data but may not automatically delete community records stored in Firebase.
Children
QuitDays is not directed to children. The app should not be used by children without appropriate parental or guardian guidance.
Medical Disclaimer
QuitDays is a habit-tracking and quit-smoking support app. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, data practices, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page.

데이터 삭제 요청
